Weekend Family Fishing

We took Alexis fishing again Saturday afternoon, after a nap, and Sunday. We did a little sheepshead fishing Saturday afternoon and caught a few but the toadfish were more abundant. Alexis loved playing with the toadfish and a couple of baby black sea bass that Rennie caught. Sunday we went back out in search of the reds. We caught about 7 redfish on top. They were a little skittish and we soon found out why. There was a huge 12' bull shark swimming in very shallow water. I've never seen a shark that big. The fishing and the weather this weekend was amazing. The topwater bite is on now and that's the most exciting way to catch these beautiful fish. Watching them stalk the plug and then bust it is incredible!!
