New Carolina Fishing TV Show 1/10/10

Check out Carolina Fishing TV this Sunday January 10 at 8:30am on FOX26 in Wilmington. Capt Jeff Cronk and I did a trout show in Wrightsville Beach. We had some pretty cold, windy conditions with water temps in the 40s and air temps the same. Tide was really low and water got colder as the afternoon progressed and the warmer water fell out.

Happy New Years to all. Shannon and I went out fishing on a cold overcast New Year's Day in pursuit of some reds. We never put the boat on plane but managed to get our fill of the elements as we found a few fish that were willing to cooperate. Shannon struck first with a small lit up red to bring in the New Year. After she located the fish I threw in where her fish struck and landed a small redfish in the same spot. Then I pulled another red on the way to the boat. We pulled a couple other fish on a quick two hour trip and then called it a day with our mission accomplished.

Happy New Year,
Capt Ren
