Fishing has been good lately. Lots of fresh water in our backwaters has made it a little more difficult to find aggressive fish on higher water. The fish that have been tailing in the short grass have been staying down in the grass w the influx of fresh water. Falling tide has been the ticket lately w the fish really chewing as the water falls out of the grass. The shrimp and mullett minnows are thick and the fish r feeding on them aggressively as they have to come out of the grass on the fall. The trout bite should only get better w the cool front coming thru this week. That should get the bait moving and the fish chewing.
