Fishing the past two days

The wind has been tough but we have managed to put a few fish in the boat. I had a family of four on the boat Tuesday and we stayed local and fished structure and deeper water. Picked up a few blues, a flounder, and a couple nice reds. Not bad for the conditions.
Today wind was howling from the start. Decided to hit the flats even thought the conditions were difficult for sight fishing. Picked off a couple reds early on soft plastics. Then we got a short flounder. Decided to move and hit a creek and two flats. Stuck a pig and had a break off then we moved back to a flat that was in the lee. Stuck two more fish to finish the day as the winds were near 30 mph. Not a bad couple of days given the conditions. As always all fish were caught on artificials.
The fish are finally starting to move around and break up out of the large schools they have been in all winter. The bite has really picked up this week with the warm nights we have had the past couple of weeks.

Tight lines,
Capt Ren
