With a new addition to Capt Shannon and I's family and rigging a new boat, our time on the water this winter was minimal. When we were able to get out the bite was good and the fish were plenty. We had such a mild winter the fish never left the flats. We had family in town last week so I took them out on the boat for some light tackle action. The wind was howling but we did not let that deter us. We found fish everywhere we went. We caught 3 flounder and about ten reds on a short trip. We left them biting as the tide was getting right when we left. We found some really nice schools of reds on this day.
