bad luck on game day

Decided to gamble on game day and headed first to a spot that was holding the fattest fish in pre fish.  Got there and it was apparent several other teams had the same idea.  Fish weren't there so we headed to a flat that was holding 1000s of fish.  They were there, only problem was flipper was after the same thing we were.  We watched flipper eat a 30 inch fish from one of the schools, largest I have ever seen them eat.  A few boats showed up after we had only managed 3 over slot fish to eat as they were being chased by dolphins.  We decided to go to our A spot after the gambling didn't pay off.  Thats when our day got interesting.  As we were running there I started losing rpm fast.  I noticed at blast off something was wrong but it only got worse.  Pulled the cowling off and knew right away I had issues when I felt oil as I lifted it off the motor.  Checked the oil and it had water in it.  Fished for a little bit waiting on sea tow and found two schools right there.  Managed to get one slot out of one the schools before sea tow got there.  Thank goodness for sea tow-what a great service.  For a little over $100/year u can have total peace of mind on the water.  If ur reading this please think twice about buying a Yamaha.  The last two I had were complete garbage.  They may have made some reliable motors in the past but now their product has major issues.  My motor never let off any alarm or anything otherwise to let me know I had a problem.  It was just losing rpms.  I thought it may be a fuel problem. My motor has been run hard but there is no excuse for the problems I have had with it. This motor had bad sensors out of the box that Yamaha knew about.  Those sensors led me to having to replace the oil pan after six month of use.  Then the power head blew three months later.  From there the trim motor went out, then it had overheating problems that were mis diagnosed and lingered for 4 months. During this time period Yamaha decided they were going to cancel my original 3 year warranty.  They told me my warranty was originally registered incorrectly.  They canceled it due to "commercial use" I was told several stories about why they did this.  Their third story was since I didn't buy the motor from a dealer I didn't qualify for the guide program. After that it kept cutting off and would take several minutes to fire up again.  Now this.  I'm done with Yamaha.
