Captain Rennie Clark Jr has been fishing the coastal waters of NC for thirty years. He has fished the entire coastline of North Carolina. another stellar day from the low country

We hit aanother piece of water today and found more new fish.  Beat on a massive school of slot and over slot first thing.  Moved on and found several more schools.  Caught fish between 16" and 28".  Took the boat out of the water around noon and went fun fishing.  Word of the day "Category5" as in category5 lures.  We crushed about 40 fish today on suicide Crocker in every color and shrimp minnows in three different colors.  Reds were coming up on top crushing these baits.  The action is incredible.  When they shut down on every thing else we pulled out the category5 lures.  Hopefully we can find the right ones tomorrow for our tournament.
