Tons of Tailers

Went out fishing today on a mission to find tailing fish on flats I have never fished. Find them I did. I fished six flats and found tailing fish on each one. Ditched the boat and went stalking on foot. On each flat there were several fish. The last flat I hit had the most tailers i have ever seen tailing at the same time. There were 4-8 fish in each corner of the flat tailing. Then I walked a little farther and found two more small flats shaped like a pond. There were some massive reds tailing in this area. I caught three over slot reds and more 23-26 fish than I could keep count. The exude crave and three inch gulps were worn today. It was very windy and rained most of the day. After launching my boat this morning I noticed rained quick approaching the area I was fishing. I poled down right near the ramp and contiplated just putting the boat back on the trailer. I decided to stay put to see if there was any lightning in the system before getting too far from the ramp. I put rain gear on started fishing just as the rain came down. On my third cast I hooked up with an overy slot red. The day just got better and better all day until the wAter left the flats-then I went home. Today I caught more tailing fish than i have ever caught in one day.
