Today started off a little shaky with storm rolling in from the Atlantic but ended up being a pretty nice day. After waiting out the rain for about an hour we headed back out on the flats in pursuit of skinny water reds. The tide was dead low so it made getting around a little tough. We popped a fish cruising the bank with his back out of the water shortly after the rain stopped. We saw a few more we couldn't get to crawling down the bank crushing bait with their backs out of the water. Moved onto another flat and stuck five or six more on soft plastics. Hit two more flats pulling the hooks on two more and landing two more goldfish on soft plastics and gold spoons. Not a bad half day fishing.
